**Child and Adolescent Therapist**
For me, psychotherapy begins with trust. My approach is collaborative and empathic. I have nine years experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. I love helping children and their families find their self-worth by helping them express their true feelings so they can understand one another. I utilize my training and experience in child development studies to help children, adolescents, and guardians understand each other in appropriate ways. I keep in mind that each child and family is unique, seeking to understand without judgement.
I have worked with a variety of presenting issues including: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, mood disorders and coping techniques. I am trained in play therapy techniques, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered modalities to provide an individualized approach in therapy. I promise to allow clients and their families to feel valued and heard while motivating them to become the best versions of themselves. I am dedicated in celebrating clients’ individuality and allowing clients the space to explore their story, and in return gain confidence, awareness, and self-acceptance.
It would be my pleasure in guiding your child/adolescent and your family to a healthier and meaningful life. I would love to hear from you.
