    Rates

    In order to make paying for therapy more convenient, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. We also accept cash and checks.

    Fees:

    • Initial Consultation- $225
    • Individual/Couples- $180
    • TeleMental Health- $180

     

    No Surprise Billing

    Insurance

    Aetna, Alliant/HealthOne, BSBC, Beacon, Cigna, Humana, Multiplan, Optum (United Healthcare) and VACCN are insurance providers that we accept. We also can provide you with out-of-network services, in which you pay our standard fee and we create a Super Bill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

    Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your insurance provider to verify how your plan compensates you for behavioral health/mental health.

    We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

    • Does my health insurance plan include behavioral health/mental health benefits?
    • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
    • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
    • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

    Payment

    We accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment. We also accept payment via PayPal and you can pay directly on this page.

    Cancellation Policy

    Balanced Living Counseling Center acknowledges that at times there are reasons for a cancelled/missed appointment due to emergencies, illness or obligations to work or family. We ask that you provide us with at least a 24-hour notice.

    However, when you do not contact us to cancel an appointment (no-show), we are unable to fill the appointment time with another client who may be in need of counseling and you will be charged for your session. Anything less than a 24-hour notice to cancel your appointment, a $25 charge for the session will be added directly to your account. A No-Call/No-Show will result in a $50 charge to your account.
