    Amanda Holley, Counseling Intern

At Balanced Living, we are proud to partner with carefully vetted student interns. This not only provides meaningful teaching and hands-on practice for future counselors but also allows us the privilege of investing in and shaping the next generation of mental health professionals. We are honored to give back, pay it forward, and help develop tomorrow’s professional counselors.

Meet Our Counseling Intern – Amanda Holley

Amanda is a student counseling intern completing her practicum and internship requirements under the direct supervision of both her university program and Balanced Living Counseling Center’s Clinical Director and Licensed Professional Counselor, Catrin Jensen.

As part of her program, Amanda is engaged in observation, research, and providing therapy services, gaining valuable hands-on experience while working toward her degree in counseling.

She is committed to creating a warm, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged as they explore their challenges and goals.

With a passion for helping others thrive, Amanda integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a person-centered approach. This combination empowers clients to navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and self-esteem while building resilience and confidence.

For clients who desire it, Amanda also offers a spiritually integrated approach to therapy, honoring both emotional and spiritual growth in the healing process.
